Good Fly conditions all year around. Best in summer. In the evening the south wind increase and it is possible to soaring and landing on the take off. In winter, when the winds come from north, there is another take off near(29 hill). Radio frequency: 145.120
Great grassed take off site, capable of 3 simultaneous take offs, facing south, west and east quadrants. Parking area. Good unpaved road to strait to the top (11 km). Landing on top is easy and safe. Great view of the valley below. In case of west winds, there is an small take off site a few steps away. It is possible to land everywhere in the valley below, including a park area at Sao Vendelino. Official landing site is at Sky Company Field at: 29°21'11.56'S 51°22'57.38'W . A great grassed landing field, with parking area, bar, toilets an a small family hotel. Two major highways are visible from the top. Sao Vendelino is a small german village in the valley below, where the people knows the access to the road of morro do diabo. From there, a good unpaved road leads strait to the top of the hill (morro do diabo = devil`s hill). 11 Km. The take off perimeter is a NOTAM area. The take off perimeter is a NOTAM area.
